Description Perennial herbs to 1.7 m. tall; consisting of 1-several stems arising from thickened rootstock; leaves of variable width, to 15 mm. wide; entire to serrate-crenate; calyx tube 6 mm. long, lips 2 mm. long; corolla rube 10 mm.; galea 6 mm. long, lips 8-9 mm. long.
Habitat N-facing roadbank with grasses in clay soil over limestone bedrock.

Habitat Grassy area in long leaf pine plantation; in sandy soil.
