Description Sprawling, nearly prostrate; flower 8 mm long, corolla with purple spots at base, 1 cm wide; calyx lobes acuminate; fruiting calyx green; anthers bluish, 1.7–2.0 mm long.

Description Herb 20 cm tall; leaves lanceolate, 5 cm long; flowers yellow, 1.5 cm across, 1 cm long, with 5 anthers; fruit 2 cm long, on a purple pedicel 2.5 cm long.
Habitat Small sand hill in area recently cleared of Schinus terebinthifolia; with grasses, Cyperus spp., Physalis cordata, Solanum chenopodioides.

Description Erect herb 75 cm tall; stem and leaves light green, the stem hollow in the middle; flowers bell-shaped, 1.5 cm across, yellow with a brownish red ring in the center.
Habitat Disturbed site, with Poinsettia cyathophora, Sabal palmetto, Phyla nodiflora, Parthenocissus quinquefolia, Chenopodium ambrosioides, and Cyperus spp.
