Locality Nicaragua. Chinandega Dept. Near Golfo de Fonseca; 1-3 km NW of Hda. Apacunca, ca. 21 km WSW of Villa Nueva. 12° 53' 54" N 87° 58' 59" W
Description Flowers yellow; vine on shrub.
Habitat Pacific coastal plain; formerly Crescentia savanna, flooded in October, but now dry and pastured "llanos" (formerly planted in rice?), with scattered thickets of shrubby Mimosa spp., Parkinsonia reticulata, Thalia geniculata, and many grasses.
