Description Dense, low-rounded shrub, ca. 8 ft. high and 12 ft. wide; well foliaged, terminally; leaves dark green; flowers golden-yellow, petal veins often brown; calyces olive-green; blackish-green bracts enclose apical buds, bracts soon caducous; fruit becomes dark brownish-green, finally brown; flowering year-round.
