Description Multiple sprawling, rhizomatous shrubs 2-3 ft. tall, rooting at nodes, with runners at least 10-12 ft. long, forming a patch 30 ft. long and wide; foliage with a spicy, resinous aroma, medium green above, grayish white pubescent below; corolla purple; drupes green maturing to dark brown.
Habitat Ocean side of dunes.
