Description Small trees to 3 m tall rapidly spreading on this site, all size classes abundant; flowers pink to white.
Habitat Deposition site for soil from dredging.

Description Ca. 12 large, multi-stemmed plants washed at base by brackish water, some with at least one main stem 10-12 in. dbh; foliage appearing grayish from a distance.
Habitat Edge of a brackish bayou; associates include Sabal palmetto, Sporobolus virginicus, Juniperus virginiana, Iva frutescens, Juncus roemerianus, Ilex vomitorie, Quercus geminata, Pinus elliottii, Borrichia frutescens, Cynanchum, Ipomoea sagittata, Solidago sempervirens, and Toxicodendron radicans.
