Description Single, small tree.
Habitat Dry turkey oak [Q. laevis] - sand live oak [Q. geminata] - Chapmans oak [Q. chapmanii] - saw palmetto [Serenoa] dominated scrub; Q. laurifolia very common in surrounding wetter habitats.
