Description Small trees to 9-10 m tall; leaves variable, falcate to flat, the margin more or less undulate; flower buds greenish; fruits orange, opening to reveal reddish, sticky seeds.
Habitat Forest edge of disturbed pinelands (fire suppressed with many exotics).
