Habitat Dry exposed disturbed area, mostly lemon grass; coast.

Description Tree with somewhat shiny apple-like leaves and fruit ca. 1 in. in diameter; this toxic plant, when handled causes peculiar irritation like pepper around mouth, probably from breathing aromas; scarce, local.
Habitat Border of mangrove swamp near coconut palms.
