Locality USA. Florida , Marion Co. : S side of FL 316, 5.1 mi. W of Salt Springs. 29° 22' 6" N 81° 48' 23" W
Description A rare form which continued to produce unifoliolat "seed" leaves along the entire length of its stems and branches; this specimena and some others at this site have typical Tephrosia chrysophylla morphology, however others are very pubescent, most with 7 or fewer leaflets, possibly a highly variable hybrid swarm of Tephrosia chrysophylla X T. mysteriosa; enigmatic populations like this one are not uncommon at disturbed sites, and this specimen may be a hybrid.

Locality USA. Florida , Marion Co. : S side of FL 316, 5.1 mi. W of Salt Springs. 29° 22' 6" N 81° 48' 22" W
Description Many plants at this site with leaflets glabrous above, but some with leaflets either pale or tawny appressed antrorse pubescent above, most with 7 or fewer leaflets, many plants thus appear more similar to Tephrosia chrysophylla in general habit; probably a highly variable hybrid swarm of Tephrosia chrysophylla X T. mysteriosa; although this specimen looks like typical T. chrysophylla, it may actually be a hybrid or contain some hybrid genetics because it was found at this site.
