Description Local, occasional climbing herb (short vine) < 0.5 m tall, with purple flowers; foliage slightly glaucous; fruits pubescent.
Habitat Disturbed moist alluvial sandy loam and muck; drainage ditch; floodplain forest, wet, degraded, dominated by Forestiera acuminata, Acer negundo, Acer saccharinum, Celtis laevigata, Cephalanthus occidentalis, Ulmus americana.
