Description | Trunk to 1 m, fronds arching, 3-4 m long; inflorescence at base of fronds. |
Habitat | Palm plantation (before entering mature forest); open, sunny; epiphytes growing in pockets of soil on trunk included many terrestrial spp., Maranta spp., Selaginella sp., Caryophyllaceae, Compositae, and Cucurbitaceae. |
