Description Seedlings, fronds bright green; sterile.
Habitat Palm plantation; growing in old leaf bases of parent in a lose mulch; shaded, slightly dry; growing with other epiphytes (Cercropica sp., Nephrolepis pendula, Pothomorphe sp., Costus sp., and grass and Piper spp.).

Description Trunk to 1 m, fronds arching, 3-4 m long; inflorescence at base of fronds.
Habitat Palm plantation (before entering mature forest); open, sunny; epiphytes growing in pockets of soil on trunk included many terrestrial spp., Maranta spp., Selaginella sp., Caryophyllaceae, Compositae, and Cucurbitaceae.
