Description Annual herbs, vigorously scrambling on viny stems away from spots where planted; stems with coiled, tightly grasping tendrils; corolla pale white, the foliage soft and clammy-pubescent; immature fruits massive, abundantly produced, commonly up to 42 cm long, ca. 19 cm broad, enlarged in a teardrop shape.
Habitat Open lawn after germination in peat pots.
