Description 2 large, multi-trunked clumps (both female), the tallest ca. 20 ft. tall, the largest trunk ca. 7.5 in. diameter breast height; a third clump which was taller and had a trunk with a diameter greater than the above was destroyed ca. 1973 during local construction activities.
Habitat Well-drained white sand soil in cleared lot.

Description Slender treelet 4.5 m tall, 4.2 cm in diameter, ca. 7 years old, bark tight; inflorescence mostly with only buds, a few open pale yellow-green flowers.
Habitat Neary flat, sandy scrub forest, dominated by Pinus, with Serenoa repens, Quercus spp., ilex opaca var. anenicola, and Lyonia ferruginea.
