Characteristics
Dicots
Achillea millefolium L.
COMMON YARROW
**
There have been numerous studies examining relationships within what has been called the Achillea millefolium aggregate. Samples in North America may be called A. borealis and appear most related to A. asiatica (Guo et al. 2012). The name A. lanulosa has also been commonly used in North America (Mulligan & Bassett 1959). Distinctive morphological characters are still difficult to discern, especially for determining if any specimens of the A. millefolium aggregate in North America represent species other than A. borealis.
