Reported for Florida are hybrids between W. bahamensis and W. indica and hybrids between W. bahamensis and W. glabra (FNA, vol. 6), although W. glabra is considered endemic to the West Indies and is not known from Florida (Acevedo-Rodríguez & M.T. Strong 2012).
