Citrus reticulata Blanco
TANGERINE
**
Citrus reticulata has commonly been purported to be one of the primary species for citrus breeding. However, other works (e.g. POWO) treat it as a synonym of C. aurantium, and favor C. deliciosa as the proper name for the primary species and progenitor for various citrus hybrids.
