Sisyrinchium rosulatum

Characteristics
Monocots
Sisyrinchium rosulatum E.P.Bicknell
ANNUAL BLUE-EYED GRASS
**
The earliest known collection in the USA may be the type specimen from 1852. This species is closely related to, and, perhaps, is conspecific with S. micranthum, which would be the earlier adopted name if considered synonymous (Tacuatiá et al. 2016; Shin et al. 2016). It seems possible that what is known as S. rosulatum in the USA is an early introduction of S. micranthum.
