1. Leaf blades 2-4(5) mm wide, 45-85 cm long; with sunken stomata in pits forming gray to white bands alternating with 7-14 longitudinal collenchymatous bands; inflorescence racemose; fruit usually asymmetrical, unwinged, 4-4.5 mm long
