Characteristics
The genera Palhinhaea (P. cernua) and Pseudolycopodiella (P. caroliniana) are sometimes segregated from Lycopodiella (Field et al. 2016; Øllgaard & Windisch 2016), while Brownsey & Perrie (2020) opine that a broader Lycopodiella genus is justified.
